Important Notice
Dear Citizens:
At the January 26, 2009 Council meeting, the Council voted to close the Civic Center building immediately.
This action was taken over concerns over the condition of the building and the potential for exposure to mold in the building. As the health and safety of employees and visitors to any City building is of primary concern, the building will remain closed to the public for all uses until testing can verify the extent of mold, air quality, or any other environmental hazards that may exist in the building. While the City realizes this action may inconvenience individuals in regards to activities that were scheduled in the building, this action was taken with the best interests of the City and the public in mind.
